Is it safe to receive a prescription online?
Patient safety is a priority at Medical Web. We treat only minor, non-emergent conditions. These conditions are commonly referred to as “lifestyle conditions.”
How does this work?
Our intuitive software asks patients questions, in plain English, to get to the bottom of their medical problem. This data is stored on a secure server allowing only the patient’s doctor access. A board certified Physician will review your medical history and provide a treatment plan, discuss possible treatment options, or ask follow-up questions to gather more information about your medical problem.
When will I hear back from my online physician?
After successfully completing your consultation, you will receive a reply from your online physician within 12-24 hours. You will be sent an email advising you to log onto your secure portal to read your physician’s message.
What if I have a question for my physician?
We are the only company that provides secure, online communication to a board-certified physician. Unlike other companies, we do not use unsecured email to discuss your health information. Our secure communication portal allows you and your physician to discuss your condition in a completely confidential and discreet manner.
When can I expect to receive my order?
A physician will review your medical request within 12-24 hours. If your request is approved, a U.S.-based pharmacy will be sent your prescription and they will dispense and ship it. If your request is approved by 3pm ET, then your order will be shipped that day. If your request is approved after 3pm, over the weekend or on a holiday; then your order will be shipped the next business day. If you reside in Utah, you have the option of having your approved prescription called into your local pharmacy.
Can I track my order?
Yes. We use FedEx to ship our orders. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has been processed for shipment. Your tracking number will not register with FedEx until the order has been picked up from the pharmacy. If the system tells you that you are entering an inaccurate tracking number, try checking later in the day. It may be that your package has not yet left the pharmacy. We do not use FedEx for P.O. Boxes and you will track that order through the US Postal Service.
Does someone need to sign for the package?
Yes. Because we are shipping prescription medication, we require an adult signature for all deliveries. If your package is going to a P.O. Box, we will ask for proof of identification to ensure that an adult owns the postal box.
Are there any cancellation fees?
If you would like to cancel your order and the doctor has already reviewed your request, a $10.00 cancellation fee will apply.
Do you offer generic versions of your listed drugs?
Absolutely not. There are no FDA-approved generic versions for Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Propecia, and Chantix. We strongly urge you to avoid purchasing “generics” of these drugs. FDA analysis has shown that unapproved generics tend to be sub potent, fail dissolution tests, and contain a high level of impurities. Medical Web offers only genuine, FDA-approved medication. We use US-licensed pharmacies and pharmacists based here in the United States.
How will my personal health information be handled?
We understand the importance of confidentiality when it comes to your health information and we are committed to keeping all of your personal as well as health information confidential.
All information you provide us via the consultation is held in complete confidence. Your personal and medical information is transferred via secure and encrypted Internet connections, and our secure online communication environment keeps anything you discuss with the doctor between you and the doctor. Only members of our licensed medical staff have access to your data and they can only access your information over a secure encrypted connection.
